HTS -Ku Series maritime SOTM antenna is a 4-axis stabilized VSAT antenna system designed for maritime customers who require for always-on mobile broadband communication under harsh environment. The antenna is easy to install with high performance to support various applications used on modern ships such as cruise ship, coast guard and navy vessels.
4-axis stabilized robot
The stabilized antenna is built on a 4-axis structure with gimbal designwhich enables less rotation torque and extends the life of the mechanical partsof the antenna. The system also solves the zenith paradox occurring in lowerlatitudes area at high reflector elevations.
Gradient tracking method
Gradient tracking algorithm supported by high speed DSP hardware enablesshorter geometric path for each axis movement, reduces the acquisition time andimproves the tracking accuracy.
Integrated attitude measurement
Integrated fibre gyro based inertial navigation system(INS) plus GPSenables a precise attitude measurement of the vessels during dynamic conditionsi.e. when a vessel rolls back and forth.
